Two Players Suspended
Two players were suspended by the Canterbury Football Association after being sent off in a third division soccer match last Saturday. N. Powers (Riccarton) was suspended for three weeks for striking a player and F. Upton (Shamrock) was suspended for two weeks for dangerous play. K. Z. Ackroyd (New Brighton), who was ordered off in a third division match last Saturday for the second week in succession, has been suspended by the judicial committee until he appears before the committee. The club will be severely reprimanded for playing Ackroyd after he had been ordered off the previous week.
