Snow Ideal For Skiers
The Canterbury individual ski championships will be held this week-end at Craigieburn Valley. All of Canterbury’s top racers will be competing, including M. Gardner, the title-holder, P. Hubrich, C. Womersley and M. Dennis.
The championships were postponed earlier in the season because of the avalance danger then existing. There has been a recent fall of snow and conditions should be excellent for the slalom on Saturday and the giant slalom on Sunday.
