(N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. The Security Service—which is at present under the direct control of the Prime Minister—may become a statutory authority with its role clearly defined. The Minister of Justice (Mr Hanan) said in Parliament late tonight: “The Government will endeavour to prepare legislation and present it to this House.”
