WEST COAST TEA SCHEME
Departmental Advice (N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. The promoters of a teagrowing industry on the West Coast had been told that the full advisory and research facilities of the Department of Agriculture would be available to them, it was said in Parliament today. But the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Taiboys) said the project was a private one and had no financial support from the Government. Mr W. E. Rowling (LabBuller) had asked what degree of Government support the promoters had obtained.
