Dory Not Wanted
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 9. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today that the Japanese owners of the fishing dory confiscated from the Kaiko Maru No. 25 off the Northland coast recently were no longer interested in recovering it. Mr Holyoake said the dory, which was impounded subject to a redemption charge of $lOOO could be disposed of by auction or to a Government agency, such as the Marine Department.
