Boys’ Brigade Company
A new Boys' Brigade company catering for boys in the Bishopdale area was registered at a meeting of the Canterbury battalion council in Rangiora.
It is the 4th Christchurch company and is associated with St Margaret’s Presbyterian Church. There are now 29 companies in the battalion. The company has only a team section at present for boys aged eight to 11 years. A company section for 12 to 18-year-olds will be formed later. There are 36 boys in the company.
Mr R. E. Lambert is the lieutenant in charge. He is assisted by two warrant officers, Messrs W. Baxter and B. 4- Alexander.
