(N.Z. Presa Association) WELLINGTON, September 2. No decision had yet been made on whether Parliament should hold a foreign affairs debate on the Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia, said the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) today. He told a press conference that he still had to confer with the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Kirk) on the proposal. Parliament resumes tomor. row after a fortnight’s recess. A further recess—this time of one week—will be held at the end of this month.
Population Increase.—lndonesia's population will increase by about three million to 114,190,000 this year, according to the Statistics Office. Djakarta’s population is expected to be about 4.350,000 by December of this year.—Djakarta, September 2.
