Strongman To Resume

(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Sept. 1. ■ Workers at the Strongman State coalmine who have been idle since August 23 will resume tonight when the men on dogwatch will enter the colliery. The decision to resume work was made by the Runanga State Miners’ Union after it had been informed by the management that the mine manager, Mr D. F. Brown, would be back on duty tomorrow.

The dispute arose over the appointment of a temporary manager who did not possess a first-class ticket
