University's Loss
Sir Alexander Reid, the Scottish-born West Australian statesman and university chan cellor. died in Perth today, at the age of 78. He was serving his thirteenth year as Chancellor of the University of Western Australia. Sir Alexander Reid, who was born in Glasgow, was UnderTreasurer of the Western Australian Government from 1938 to 1954—Perth, August 30.
