SUBDIVISION OWNERS
Formation Of Association (N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, Sept. 1. A Manawatu Subdividers’ Association has been formed in Palmerston North to protect the interests of landowners and land developers in and near the city. A spokesman for the group said he believed it was the first time, in New Zealand that such an association had been formed. The Palmerston North City Council recently decided to increase reserve contributions. This meant that on an average section the contribution had been more than trebled, the spokesman said. The council has been advised of the formation of the association, and told that the group is seeking incorporation under the Incorporated Societies Act
