$296 Worth Of Goods Stolen From Cars

Goods worth a total of $296 were stolen from six cars parked in different parts of Christchurch at the week-end. The property included five radios, a camera worth 5146, a sheepskin rug, and a coat. The police said that most of the cars were locked, but not securely. There was usually a window left partly open, or some other means of access. A wheel-assembly worth $247 was stolen from the State Coal Depot, Falsgrave Street. Waltham, on Thursday night, and on the same night the Lavender Box Dairy.
