Presf Am— Copyright! ■ PERTH, Sept. 1. j The 24-man crew of a Jap j anese fishing vessel reported on fire 1000 miles south-west I of Perth is believed safe today aboard another JapaneseJ trawler. The 192-ton Seishin Maru i No. 8 radioed before dawn' yesterday for immediate help,' before the crew reportedly took to the lifeboats. The Swedish freighter Waitara, which sped to the scene yesterday, radioed today that it had reached the abandoned trawler. According to the Australian Broadcasting Commission, maritime authorpies in Tokyo reported the crew picked up by another Japanese trawler.
