Three Men Held
(N.Z P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) GUATEMALA CITY, Aug. 30. The Guatemala City police are holding three persons for questioning in connection with the assassination of the United States Ambassador (Mr John Gordon Mein) two days ago. A clandestine Communist organisation known as the Rebel Armed Forces, which supports violent revolution, claims it was responsible for the killing. In a statement sent secretly to reporters, the organisation said it originally intended to make off with Mr Mein as a hostage and hold him until rebel prisoners in Government gaols were freed.
