WHIM WHAM)
For once, not out of Line! No clamorous Minority, For once, the Cause commands An absolute Majority. Lend me your Banner, Sir, to wave! It costs so Little to be brave.
So, we must demonstrate. A Voice is All we’ve got. Such as It is, we raise It, Whether It’s heard or not In Prague, in Moscow, should we care? Such as It is, we pay our Share.
Yes, we must demonstrate. This Least that we can do Happens to be the Most, And isn’t Much, it’s true. Silence in such an Argument Means Apathy, or worse, Consent!
Blown by an angry Wind Of Liberties outraged, Old Fears, old Hatreds too, In a new Cause engaged, This Demonstration’s not the Same As Others which have borne the Name.
The French are building still The Hell-bomb that we fear. Whose were the Voices raised When friendlier Tests were near? Why do we always demonstrate Too loud, too little, or too late?
Join the Procession, Sir! The March that never ends. You’ll influence Few, or None, You’ll make peculiar Friends. You’ll seldom find, in all that Dust, A Cause both Popular, and Just!
