Burglaries And Thefts
Rims, tyres and wheels, worth $247, were stolen when a storeroom in Falsgrave Street, occupied by Jim Harris, Ltd, cartage contractor, was burgled on Thursday night.
Cigarettes worth $66 and a transistor radio valued at $3O were stolen when the Lavender Box Dairy, 194 Armagh Street, was broken into. Slot cars worth $63 were stolen in a burglary of Pegasus Cycles, Seaview Road.
A wide-angle lens, valued at $146, was stolen from a car parked at the back of the Hornby Trust Hotel last evening. The theft of a taperecorder, worth $BB, from a room in the Waterloo Private Hotel, was also reported to the police yesterday.
