J. Porter (Britain) won the. men’s professional pursuit title at the world cycling championships in Rome. He clocked 6min 5.935ec in the final to beat O. Ritter (Denmark).
L. Proost (Belgium) won the men's professional motorpaced title. G. Beghetto (Italy) won the men’s professional sprint title from P. Sercu (Belgium), the holder.
