The Czechoslovak Foreign Minister, Mr Jiri Hajek. said in London that the Soviet Union was “a friend who made a blunder." During a three-hour stopover on his way home from the United Nations in New York, the Minister was also quoted as saying his country’s future was not as good as had been hoped but they would have to make the best I of it. MOSCOW. A Soviet newspaper alleged that specially-trained crack ! “Green Beret" American troops had been infiltrated into Czechoslovakia recently in the guise of tourists. An article in the weekly, “Literary Gazette," said the troops bad received special training in Austria under the command of high-ranking American and West German officers. It implied that one of their tasks had been to set up the underground radio stations which have been operating in Czechoslovakia since the Soviet and allied occupation a week ago. The article, which gave no source for its information, also alleged that West German weapons had been smuggled into Czechoslovakia from an Austrian Anny barracks in Sab.burg.
