TOLL IN VIETNAM
U.S. Losses 27,101

American forces in South Vietnam lost 308 men killed in action last week, almost double the number of the previous week. In addition, 24,679 American servicemen were wounded last. week.
Since the American intervention in Vietnam on January 1, 1961, 27-101 United States servicemen have died in combat there.
Viet Cong and North Vietnamese dead in the same period total 385,055, according to American figures.
