Lower Danish Bank Rate

COPENHAGEN. Aug. 28. Denmark today lowered its Bank Rate from 6) per cent to 6 per cent. The National Bank said there were signs of a stabilisation of prices and balance of payments, especially as a result of Government fiscal policies which had reduced demand. It was thus reasonable to aid business investment by an easing of the terms for short-term borrowing.
