PLAYERS ARRIVE

North-South Rugby

The members of the North Island and South Island Rugby teams assembled in Christchurch last evening and will train this morning in preparation for the inter-island game at Lancaster Park tomorrow. The North Island side will hold its practice at Rugby Park and the South Island team trains at Lancaster Park. The managers of the two sides, Messrs I. M. H. Vodanovich (North) and V. L. George (South) reported that all their players were fit. The only change in the original selection is the withdrawal of W. L. Davis (Hawke’s Bay) from the North Island team. He has been replaced by M. Sayers (Wellington), who made a good impression in matches against All - Japan earlier this season.
