Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Canterbury branch of the Navy League last evening were:— President, Mr J. P. Shelley: vice-presidents, Sir George Manning, Captain G. H. Dennistoun, Commander D. G. H. Bush, Sir Joseph Ward, Commander T. S. Critchley, Lieutenant Commander H. S. Anderson, Lieutenant Commander F. B. Campbell, Captain A. R. Champion, Lieu-i tenant Colonel J. A. Brotherton. and Messrs J. M. F. I Sandeman, M. L. Newman, R. L. Reid, and P. D. Hall;: executive committee, Commander N. P. Astley, Messrs K. B. Smith, C.
