The Christian Faith Centre in Gloucester Street will be dedicated on September 7, The guest preacher will be Mr F. A. Fitzsimons, a Methodist lay preacher, of Wellington, and the prayer of dedication will be offered by Mr S. M. Tucker, a Methodist lay preacher of Christchurch. To celebrate the dedication and to mark the first anniver : sary of the ministry <rf the Church of the Open Door, a number of services and meetings will be held in the next The Christian Faith Centre was established in June by the Rev. D. W. Edmonds, a Christchurch independent Methodist evangelist and minister. According to a booklet which tells the story of the work of the centre, its purpose is not to establish another denomination.
