. Nieksl stocks continued to drift on an easing stock market. The biggest falls among the nlekels were confined generally to the mors highly priced stocks.

Slater Walker continued to gain ground with the shares putting on 30e to 1000 c.

MELBOURNE Mining stocks were slightly lower yesterday with fall* out. numbering rises. C.8.A., whleh Is expected to report on Its nickel search, eased 80c to elose at 2300 c. Metal Exploration lost 60e to 1070 c, North Kalgurli lost 30c to 1400 c, but Western Mining rose 10c to 1340 c.

Oils were generally weaker with Ex. Oil down 4c to 58c and Oil Search down 7c to 123 c.

Industrials were fairly steady B.H.P. closed at 2210 c, up 10c.

A. V. Jennings rose 15c to 285 c after its announcement of record profit and 1 for 5 bonus issue.
