Unemployment In Britain

Unemployment in Britain has risen this month to the highest August level for more than 20 years.
But the Government says, taking seasonal factors into account, the figures are encouraging. They showed that 560,731, or 2.4 per cent of the nation’s work force, were out of work on August 12.
