TOWSER SOLD
The well-performed trotter, Towser, has been bought by the Papanui trainer, C. McDonald, in whose interests he will race at the New Brighton Trotting Club’s spring meeting at Addington Raceway next week. Although no definite plans have been made, it is possible Towser will be shipped to Australia to join other horses racing in McDonald’s interests. He may be shipped in time to compete at the Harold Park spring carnival late in October.
Towser, one of few trotters sired by Hal Tryax, recorded two sound efforts at the recent national meeting, finishing fifth on both occasions.
