Permits For All D.D.T. Urged
The pasture pests control committee of North, Mid and South Canterbury Federated Farmers wants a permit system to apply to the distribution of all D.D.T. fertiliser.
It will make this recommendation to the Agricultural Chemical Boards. Permits would be granted automatically to other than dairy farmers, but the object of the system would be to give the Department of Agriculture a record of where all D.D.T. fertiliser goes.
