Maori-Pakeha Match
The Canterbury Maoris Rugby league team will play the Canterbury Pakeha team on September 15 at the Show Grounds If permission for the use of the ground is obtained by the Canterbury board of control. The Secretary of the Maori advisory board (Mr G. R. T. Tuaine) requested permission for the game to be Ptayed at the Show Grounds, and told w board that his chairman, Mr R. T. Pomare, had given a trophy for annual competition between the teams. If the game is held at the Show Grounds, the Canterbury 17-years team will play a 17years coaching school team as the curtain-raiser. .
