Navy Holds Rugby Lead
(N.Z. Preee Association) AUCKLAND August 28. The Navy withstood a strong attack from the Air Force to draw 6-6 and hold a slender lead In the Rugby section of the combined services winter tournament in Auckland today. The police beat the Army. 17-11, and gave the best display of the day. Results:— RUGBY Navy 6 (C. A. Bartlett, try; H. F. Tapsell, penalty goal). Air Force 8 (L. C. Sparks, dropped goal, penalty goal); Police 17 (M. L. Cull. E. A. McLaughlan. B. Bidois, triet; B. Beazley, conversion; McLaughlan, two penalty goals). Army 11 (J. Sokavaut (2), P.
