Discussion On Radioactivity
(N.Z.P A.-Reuter—Copyright) NEW YORK August 25. Scientists from 16 countries are gathering for a week-long discussion starting tomorrow on how to reduce the amount of radio-active contamination of the air near nuclear reactors.
Methods of decontaminating. diluting or dispersing airborne wastes which are hazardous to people living near nuclear plants will be considered by some 146 scientists.
The symposium, the first of its kind at an international level, has been organised jointly by the International Atomic Energy Agency and the United States Atomic Energy Commission
