Town Milk Industry

Sir,—For once the town milk suppliers are facing a little reverse. The prices suppliers have received over the years have been so exclient that it has been almost impossible to buy a town milk supply farm. They have been too greedy to share their quotas with other farmers, as Is the practice in some other districts For the same number of ’>ours a week or more —and seven days a week, too —the butterfat farmer has always received a much lower income. Now, he too, has had his income reduced drastically, plus low prices for pork. Too long the people of Christchurch have had to take '-clow-standard milk from local suppliers.—Yours, etc, JUSTICE. August 23, 1968.
