Bahaman Plane Hijacked

HAVANA, Aug. 23.

A single-engined Cessna plane was hijacked yesterday in the Bahamas and the pilot forced to fly to Havana, the British Embassy in Havana said.

‘ The pitot, a Bahamian, was made to fly to the Cuban capital by his passenger. The aircraft had been chartered in Nassau to fly to a local destination.

The Cuban Foreign Ministry informed the British Embassy about the plane and said it would return to Nassau immediately.
