Ban Sought On Invaders (N.Z. Preu Assn.—Copyright/ VIENNA, August 25. The Czechoslovak television resumed yesterday after a two-day pause. The Olympic champion runner, Emil Zatopek, was shown in his officer’s uniform repeating the demand that athletes from the five Warsaw Pact countries occupying Czechoslovakia should be barred from the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico. Other films shown on the programme were on the first day of the occupation. The telecast was made available to Western viewers by the Austrian television network. Zatopek, who holds four Olympic gold medals for distance running, is believed to have been placed on a Soviet black list for his resistance activities since the invasion. United Press International reported from Prague that Zatopek went on Radio Free Prague yesterday to broadcast an appeal against collaboration with the Soviet Bloc invaders.
