Rumanian Meeting

Communist Party and Government leaders called urgent meetings today on Czechoslovakia, the official news agency, Agerpres, announced.
“In connection with the situation created by the invasion of Czechoslovakia by foreign troops, the central committee of the Rumanian Communist Party and the Government will convene during the day in a joint session,” Agerpres said. The Associated Press reported that the West German Government press department’s radio monitoring service quoted Radio Prague as saying it has heard “unconfirmed reports that Rumania has offered help” to the Dubcek Government
