ADVICE ON WOOL
(N.Z. Press Association)
WELLINGTON, Aug. 20.
The Wool Board is developing an after-sales service for overseas users of New Zealand wool. The board’s technical manager, Mr M. Higgins, will fly to Japan soon to discuss the use of stipe wools with textile industrialists. Sir John Acland, chairman of the board, said at the meeting of its electoral committee today that there were no serious problems in processing stipes (wool removed from the skin in the freezing works), but Japanese mill men needed to know more about them.
