Record Runs.—The racing runabout, Silhouette. owned and driven by M. Logie, of Matakohe. has broken the NewZealand 100 cu. in and 180 cu. in records for its class with a speed of 72.866 m.p.h. The 100 cu. in record was previously 65.59 m.p.h., and the ISO cu. in 63.73 m.p.h.
■owls Entry.—The New Zealand international bowler, R. Buchan, will compete in next week’s "master of champions’’ tournament at Sydney’s City club.
Injured Player.—A recurring dislocation of a Anger has forced the All Black and Wellington flanker, G. C. Williams, out of Rugby for at least a month.
Slow Race.—The Commonwealth Games six miles champion, N. Temu (Kenya), won the 10,000 metres in the slow time of 30min 32.75ec at an international meeting in Lusaka, His win helped his country to trounce Zambia, 210 points to 100.
