NET LOSS IN JUNE

Population Statistics (N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 9. Only two Governmentassisted immigrants entered New Zealand in June, compared with 404 in June, 1967, and in June this year 2599 people left New Zealand permanently. Immigrants intending to ■stop permanently totalled 1346, making a net loss for the month of 1253, the Government Statistician (Mr J. V. T. Baker) said in a report released today.
