Motor-cycle Trials
The major inter-club motorcycle trials event of the season the Tullet Memorial event—will be held at Greenwoods Bridge, Amberley, tomorrow. Each year the winning club has the responsibility for organising the next season’s event and last season the honours went to Pioneer.
Clubs will be represented by teams of three, and with riders such as the New Zealand champion, E. Norriss, R. Milner, R. Rush and T. Whamsby competing, the standard should be particularly high. Pioneer will start as the favourite but its representatives will have no room for error If they are to repeat last season's success. An Individual contest will also be incorporated in the event and this could be a good pointer to the possible outcome of the New Zealand championship, to be held in conjunction with the annual North-South contest in Canterbury on October 5 and 6.
