Rations Given To Sheep

Crew members gave 1000 starving sheep water from their own rations when a freighter was forced to seek shelter at an island from a storm in Victoria’s Bass Strait.
Captain Cruikshank told reporters 102 of the sheep had died of starvation during the freighter’s enforced refuge.
