MEDAL TO BE STRUCK
(N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 8. The Historical Medal Society of Australia and New Zealand will strike a medal to commemorate the Wahine disaster in Wellington Harbour on April 10. The society has asked the police and other organisations to submit the names of those who showed distinctive courage in rescue operations. Those recommended will receive silver or copper medals inscribed with their names. Other recipients will Include passengers, crew, police, and those who took part in rescue operations both ashore and afloat
