REEFTON DATES
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH. The Reefton Jockey Club has been allocated Tuesday, January 7, and Wednesday, January 8 for its annual meeting next year.
The club originally applied for January 6 and 8. but the former date had been allocated to the Greymouth Trotting Club. The Reefton Club made an unsuccessful appeal against January 6 being given to the trotting club.
The secretary of the Reefton Jockey Club, Mr S. Baxter, said recently, that it had not yet had an opportunity of discussing the new dates and he was unable to comment upon any possible reaction.
