“The Press" Special Service PALMERSTON NORTH. Hindi came through a searching task tn good style at Awepunl yesterday morning and he will now contest the Ashcott Handicap at Hastings tomorrow. —?* n4l wa * ln trouble earlier thia week when he knocked a fetlock Joint during a gallop. He pulled up well yesterday and ran two seconds faster then anything else over half a Supa ran a first class trial for the Highgate Handicap when she worked over six furlongs. On the Inside trial. Hindi completed half a mile In 50 3-8 •«c. ! ha la,t *bree furlongs In 37 3-Ssec. This was an excellent effort especially as his rider was in difficulties In the straight with a slipped Saddle. Hindi looks at bls test and his fetlock Joint did not seem to trouble him at all. Firmer ground for the second day will help Supa which ran a bold race for fifth last Saturday. She strode out well over six furlongs in Imin 18sec, the last three in 38sec.
