SYNDICATED STALEION
(N.Z. Preu Association) WELLINGTON. Another high-priced stallion for syndication was purchased in Britain this week. Bought by Mr T. Hogan, sen., for the Fencourt Stud, Cambridge, the stallion it the Aureole horse. Hermes. The price is estimated to be between 180.000 and 890,000. He will stand at the Feneourt Stud with Persian Garden II and Forearmed. He is a five-year-old bay, a winner of live races at distances from seven furlongs to two miles. His stake earnings amounted to 150.220. Hermes was weighted it l-l on the three-year-old Free Handicap. In a career record of 23 races, he was only out of the first four on dve occasions.
