WELFARE OF CHILDREN
Amendment To Legislation (N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 8. The Minister in charge of the Child Welfare Division (Mr McKay) told Parliament today he intended to introduce legislation this session to amend the Child Welfare Act Mr McKay said the question of granting civil and criminal immunity to doctors reporting suspected cases of cruelty to children was being considered along with the changes in the welfare legislation.
