N.Z. Goods In Reno
Reno, the casino resort of Nevada, has a shop with a wide range of New Zealand goods, including Maori carving reproductions, records, table mats and napkin sets, tea towels with New Zealand scenes, blankets, rugs, woollen coats and dresses and suede jackets. The owner of the shop finds that natural sheepskin rugs sell better than dyed ones, and has suggested that opossum skin rugs would attract sales.
