Homosexuality Discussion
A discussion of the broad sociological aspects involved in problems of homosexuality is planned by the Canterbury Mental Health Association. Speakers from legal, sociological, psychiatric and other pro esrional groups have been invited to present papers. The meeting will not he open to the public. The chairman of the association (Dr H. D. Livingstone) said it was planned to hold the meeting in September. Magistrates, lawyers, doctors, psychologists, social workers, probation officers, police officers, nurses, school teachers and clergy would be invited. Causes, prevention. and treatment of homosexual disorders, the law in relation to homosexuality and public attitudes to sexual deviation would be themes for discussion, he added.
