Tavern Plan Changes
Construction of the tavern for Ballins Industries. Ltd, and New Zealand Breweries, Ltd, in Harewood Road has been delayed while plans are changed to suit the altered requirements of extended licensing hours, the managing director of Ballins Industries (Mr B. J. Wilks) said this week. No target date for the building of the tavern bad originally been set but even with the change in Plans it was hoped construction would, begin before the end of the year, Mr Wllks said, ,
