ARMS ACT CHARGES
Couple’s Names Suppressed (R.Z Press Association) HAMILTON, July 9. A Ngaruawahia couple, whose names were suppressed, appeared in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court today, charged with breaches of the Arms Act The woman was charged with unlawfully presenting a firearm and with discharging a firearm in a manner likely to cause injury or endanger the safety of any property or person. Her husband was charged with unlawfully presenting a firearm. No pleas were taken. Mr B. D. O’Shea appeared for the defendants. Both were remanded, until August 9, to Tokanui Psychiatric Hospital.
