Injured On Roads
The rider of a motorscooter, Gary Leslie Dillard, of 19 Stenness Avenue, Somerfield, suffered head injuries in a collision with a bus in Colombo Street near Moorhouse Avenue about noon yesterday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital where his condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory. A power-cyclist, Mr L. J. Scuffell, of 88 Sandwich Road, suffered head injuries in a collision with a car at the corner of Waltham Road and Mowbray Street about 6 p.m. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital where his condition was reported to be fairly satisfactory.
