EXTENSIONS PLANNED
Paparua C.C. Offices Plans to enlarge the offices at Sockburn in a three-stage development estimated to cost $22,760 were put to the Paparua County Council last evening, and referred to the finance committee for consideration. More satisfactory arrangements should be made for dealing with the public, said the County Clerk (Mr A. Kelly). There should be improved conditions, especially, for driving licence applicants to take the written test.
The proposals involved extensions at either end of the building for the clerical and engineering staffs, and, as a final stage, new executive offices built on the roof and conversion of the present offices for public space.
