Sir,—We appreciate the comments of your critics and always look forward to them. However, I would like to correct an impression that may have been given that this exhibition is mounted for profit The policy of the society in presenting this show without restriction allows members to see their work hung with that of others, and also gives the council’s artist committee an opportunity of nominating new working members.
